The first champion with the Family Af-Ayr name was the 1995 World Dairy Expo Grand Champion Ayrshire,  Family Af-Ayr A.J. Julia. She was purchased by the Koss family who exhibited her with much success. Family Af-Ayr Laro Donay-ET was purchased by Bill Langel at the 2007 National Ayrshire Convention Sale. She was the 6th Spring Yearling & 1st Junior at the 2007 WDE, she was also the Jr Champion of the 2007 WDE Jr show, & 2007 UAA Spring Yearling!
